Hi, I’m Cobra Pilot Jenn (Jennifer St. James) from Morning Cobra and the Next Jenn Night Service on Radio Cobra. You can listen to my show from 6 pm to 10 pm every night!! I will feature harder alternative rock, grunge, punk, and industrial dance music, as well as new artists, and many of the alternative hits from the 90s and 2000s that were featured on 89X!
I am part of the Washington DC and Detroit-based Cobra flight crew. I am a Michigan native and love all things Detroit. I am also a music junkie and a musician, a longtime broadcaster, and a huge 89X fan over the years. In addition to being on-air, I am the operations and program director of Radio Cobra and keep the trains running for all of the shows as well as managing the schedules and music.
Our vision for Radio Cobra is to honor the legacy of 89X, as well as capture the spirit of Detroit with funk, Mojo, soul, gritty local bands, and Motown music, as well as songs that have a little sizzle, dance, and snap.
